My mom reports that she told all the non-costumed, teen-aged trick-or-treaters at her door that they had to sing Jingle Bells while standing on one foot before they would get a piece of candy.
I like this idea... the sad thing is... a friend of mine used to trick-or-treat without costume all through high school. Dragged me along one year -- after about on e block I got tired of it -- he deserved a household like your mom's.
