ok, ok, so my current rent is awfully nice, as long as I have a roommate I can stand. Ultimately though, I think I want a mother-in-law apartment attached to a big geek house. i.e. I want the big drawing room and hack room and fireplace and wrap-around porch I can't afford on my own, and having enough people around for a game, but I also fantasize about my own bathroom.
Although, my new dating situation is reacclimatizing me to the idea of sharing stuff and creating my own space in more virtual/temporal ways. I have long been used to having a physical space that is my own, unless I invite people over on occassion.
Now, it seems that a 3rd of my time I have a houseguest, a 3rd of my time I AM a houseguest, and the rest of the 3rd is split between all the stuff I need to do for my self, and will eventually be consumed when I find work again.
If I master this, I AM ready for a group house. Maybe.
I'm not cool enough?
or am I merely an energy vampire?
