Ugh

Well, all my work into BrainDump is apparently for naught. VoodooPad already does it all. Oh well.

I actually hadn't worked on the app in several weeks. Still... rats.

And also, yay, because VoodooPad looks pretty useful. :b

Diesel Art?

Perhaps part of the problem is the capacity (or complete lack thereof) of laptop batteries after "awhile". I get ~20-30 minutes of use on my ibook now.

I envy you. The (bought-used) laptop I use has a battery life of, quite literally, under four minutes; I've had it go into hibernation when I unplugged it long enough to move from one table to another at the Diesel.

And I noticed that sculpture. I was, indeed, not happy.

Possible silly suggestion

Would it be possible to buy a cheap outlet splitter and sneak it onto the art? Paint it a matching color and people will think it's intentional.

My iBook became as sick as yours. I complained to Apple, being an appleCare owner, and they ended up swapping my battery, via a credit card secured transaction.

Now my battery life is back up to normal - 3 hours or so on the small iBook.

If you have Apple Care, complain about it. Don't say "But some other guy got HIS done", but be nice and ask if there's anything they can do to help?

Of course, I get escalated with Apple everytime I call now because I'm at '4 boxes' and counting. That means I've sent in my iBook 4 times for repair in it's 1.5 year life span.

If yo udon't have AppleCare, see if you've a friend in a school that has the iBook program, see if they can get a replacement for you - it's worth a shot (up here in Maine I mean).

Good luck
