Cooling my heels between reregistering the car and starting the big haul. (I can park most anywhere in Somerville now, and so can up to two carloads of guests. Yay.)

I still can't stand my IF page but haven't had the time to fix everything that's wrong with it. Rewriting it did remind me how joyous I find writing little things like this, though, especially if I know they're getting read. Meanwhile, a burst of chatter in my mailbox today among ORA editors (I'm still on one internal mailing list) reminds me that I don't want to lose touch with that whole extended family. So, just now I sent my old O'Reilly Network contact a quick proposal for another Mac article or two. (If I get the green light, I'll have my Arcus friends to thank once again.)

I feel my post-librum life slowly reinflating. Ahhh, nice.
