She just called; it was just as my mom speculated, compounded with troubles she's been having with her cell phone. Gosh jeepers.

Yeah, she's planning to be in Boston tomorrow for other business, and is going to call me. Which sounds like the setup for further wah-waahhhh but I'm feeling hopeful.
