This kind of snow, the big clumps, always reminds me of the jokey weatherman on the radio station I'd listen to while driving to UMaine every morning. Once, while predicting this sort of precipitation, he said something like "This is the kind of wet snow where, as it falls, the flakes all group, they all stick together... they're friends, see?" That still makes me smile.
Another time he got really excited about something one of the deejays said and screamed YEEEEEEEE, leading to a full second or two of dead air because nobody knew how to respond to that.
