(no subject)

Just had a nice shopping trip. Visited the Burlington Coat Factory store that opened down the street from my house, and got a sensible winter coat (finally) with the help of a friend. I should always do clothes-shopping with a friend; going alone usually ends in frustration, unless I'm just buying jeans or socks or something. (Which I still need to do, this week.)

This is the first non-overcoat, non-sportcoat coat I've owned, um, definitely since college. Pretty happy with it; as my friend said, it should make me look less incongruous. (I like being an individual; I don't always like sticking out.) Too bad it's too warm for it right now! Lovely spring weather. Sheesh.

Also bought a new cellphone at the Harvard Square T-Mobile store. Sony Ericsson, with color screen (making my current phone look like a bloody Nintendo Game & Watch, graphics-wise), Bluetooth, and camera. Yes. It's charging now, and soon I will pop my old phone's SIM(sp) into it (so I have the same phone number 'n' everything). Then I will figure out how to join the ranks of the photo-bloggers. Oh man.
