I now owe Somerville $100 in parking tickets, because my giant brain failed to comprehend that some weeks, the first/third wednesday is immediately followed by the second/fourth thursday. I just figured this out. Wow.

OTOH, they seem to have eased back on the towing. Last year, four tix + tows would have added up to $460 + dragging damage to car.

GREEN

Jealous that I have been exploring my options with other cafes lately, the Diesel has painted its front wall Punchbuggy Green. I guess that it now finally matches the blue and orange walls, but I will miss the black, just as I missed the black from the other walls when they were deblacked. I keep glancing at the wall from where I sit now, and it's still startling.

Hmm, so front to back, the walls now go green->blue->orange. I call this color sequence "Howard Johnson's on Grass".

Also, I asked a Diesel Person how the Turf Wars were going, and was informed they signed the lease two days ago. So... yay.
