Actuallyderspatchel found it, and probably two or three others will get all the references or like the horribly awesome song, but you have to have grown up in Boston like JL to experience the same atavistic pleasure from the logo in the opening frames as I did. (Unless she didn't watch the same TV that I did 25 years ago. I am gambling that she did.)

Update: Ha ha ha, I found the album on iTMS and snap-boughted the whole thing before realizing that none of the other songs sounded like that. But still.
