Overheard at the diesel cafe
Things that the good fairy would say to the grumpy fairy about being a good friend:

Also, I got the same DHCP-assigned IP back from the cafe's router after going outside for 10 minutes. I came back inside to find not only a free power outlet, but that my SSH session from when my battery ran out was uninterrupted.
A good omen. I must concentrate on doing as much good as I can, today.
