Kerry is creeping ahead again

according to electoral-vote.com. It may be more correct to say that Bush's bounce has faded; there are too many toss-ups, but he doesn't seem to be obviously ahead any more, not even like he was just a couple of days ago (according to that same site). I have only started to hit that page daily; is this actually the end of a trend, directly corresponding to Kerry's long-overdue focus on Iraq?

My money's on another Orange Alert next Sunday.

my money's on the Bush Administration suddenly producing a "newly captured" Osama Bin Ladin in the next few weeks.

Even if I was one for conspiracy theories -- which I'm not, due to my firm belief that nobody can keep the sort of secrets that they require -- I would actually doubt this, due to the fact that Bush & co haven't even mentioned OBL in, what, over a year? Not since around the time that Bush said he didn't care about him any more. If they were somehow holding him in secret, you'd think that they'd have started talking again about what a bad man he his, and how much safer the world would be with him gone.

i am not one for conspiracy theories either. it's only september. give them some time. i say by second week of october, we see a resurface of OBL, and shortly after his "capture."

actually, now that i think about it, i am for conspiracy theories. nevermind.

can we talk JFK and the grassy knoll?
