Really good dKos thread from a U.S. soldier currently serving in Iraq. He responds eloquently with with a cool head throughout, even to the idjits who say he's dumb not to desert.
(I have noticed that here are actually several active-duty, Iraq-stationed folk who post regularly to the site, and an apparently larger number of regulars with children serving overseas.)
