Naked Came I

Was there a book or a movie or a comic strip or something in which a character wrote or wanted to write a book or a screenplay or something titled Naked Came I? I think it was meant to be an absurdly pretentious idea, though the character thought it was a serious and groundbreaking work.

The phrase has been swimming in my head for days and I swear that I originally picked it up long ago from some constructed scenario like that. But Googling this phrase leads to inconclusive results, though apparently the original source of the quote is the Book of Job (KJV), which I did not know.

It was in Bloom County. Opus wrote an autobiography called "A Penguin's Story", and I think Milo was the one who "punched it up" a bit and turned it into "Naked Came I."

The only one at the booksigning afterwards was Milquetoast the cockroach.

Why do I remember these things?

I believe there's a biography of Rodin titled Naked Came I, but you're pretty clearly not thinking of that.
