Start of day 2. I am stumbling and crashing around and it's great fun. Managed to get into the office all my myself, today, getting a minimal amount of dirty looks from gangs of scrub-clad adepts for wandering into the wrong building. (All of the HMS buildings are connected through walkways and basement tunnels, so it's quite possible to enter the right building and end up lost in a different one.)

Today I:

Saw a Pepsi One bottle in the hall filled with glowing blue liquid

Overheard someone gently chewing out a maintenance person over the phone; apparently there was a leak early in the morning, so someone turned off the water that a storage unit needed as coolant, and it was liable to explode by the time the researchers wandered in. "We'd rather just see a towel on the floor."

Wow, that already sounds interesting and exciting. Any chance of getting a picture of the glowing blue liquid? I'll bet that would make a neat userpic.

I should have drank it and gained s00per-powers.

Actually it was probably just Windex or something, but I'm living my life through a giddy-o-filter these days.
