Curiously, I googled "there was so much energy in the room" and the only quote I could see that was worse was this gem:

"There was so much energy in the room, so much excitement with the leadership. It's indescribable. This company is going to go into momentum this year. Mark my word."

Mind you, that is a LOT worse.

Twitter is great because it keeps a lot of that self-indulgent noise off other channels of communication. You can just ignore everything on Twitter and the signal-to-noise ratio of the entire internet increases.
