Finished that Civ game. Managed to rally towards the end, gleefully rolling Panzers all over the continent like a good little German, but still lost the space race by just a few turns. I don't know whom I lost to, which is a little annoying; I got the same generic "We have suffered a humiliating defeat!" dialog I got when I surrendered my previous game. I hope it wasn't Babylon. Hippies.

(The Civ III spaceship is... ridiculously phallic. My internal cthulhia says "Oh, my" every time the blueprint pops up.)

Yes, fwee, the losing screen is pretty funny. "Consider your lawn MOWED!" crows Hammurabi. "Go back to Chieftain!" adds Alexander. Rrr. Well... putting the CD away for now. I think next time I'll try as Greece.
