Dance Dance Underpants

I played (and saw) Dance Dance Revolution for the first time today, and according to [livejournal.com profile] rikchik, I'm "a prodigy". Yuss Apparently one can purchase two dance pads and the game for $200, and I'm thinking: IGGMSOT.

Then we all watched Fight Club, where it somehow managed to elevate itself from a movie I saw once and enjoyed to one of my favorite movies, period. It is a fine movie, and by its very nature it's... differently enjoyable on its second viewing. I also had the special treat of being the only person in the crowd who had seen the film already and knew what happy things were in store, and therefore willingly got into that special, illusory feeling that I was somehow presenting the story to them myself. Ahh, it's nice.

And Fight Club had underpants in it and we made underpants jokes and therefore my subject line makes sense. Can I go now?

It scares me that I understood "IGGMSOT."

I thought I'd suck at DDR when I first tried it but it turns out I'm actually almost okay at it. I guess I've got some rhythm.

I've never heard of the acronym IGGMSOT and am not sure what it means ... My best guess based on context: I Gotta Get Me Some Of That.

Fight Club was a fantastic flick. I'm not sure if I'd call it the best movie ever but it's high on my movie list. If you're into trippy mind-game movies might I also recommend Momento.

Your guess is probably right; I hadn't knowingly seen the acronym before using it just then, either.

My "best movie ever" movies remain 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Manchurian Candidate, which also deal with mind games (very literally, in the latter instance), but not in the mislead-the-audience sense.

DDR is Demon Spawn. It has Olivia Newton John. Olivia Newton John is evil.

Only some mixes include "Have You Never Been Mellow", and this one was not one of those. Neither does it contain "Kung Fu Fighting", "Train Kept A-Rollin'", or "The Reflex". Alas. But it does include "Sana Morette Ne Ente" and "Candy*", which makes up for a lot.

It does have Duran Duran in it, though.

Well, a cover of "Ordinary World" anyway. There are ones in the arcade with a remix of "The Reflex" by the original group.
