After a couple hours of filling out forms and waitng for credit checks, we've been given a 90 percent chance of getting the Highland place with a May 15 move-in. (There is a 10 percent chance that one of the two landlords won't want to rent to a "co-ed" group of young professionals, and won't respond to our agent's counterinsinuations that this would be discriminatory.)
We had a celebratory vegetarian pizza at Mike's, which was surprisingly good.
I feel excited, and dreadful. I hope everything with my current housemates wraps up nicely over the next two months. Based on their recent, improving attitudes, and the fact we've been reasonably open with each other, I am optimistic. We'll see.
