Finished the draft of the first of three articles for the Network today. Then played Geneforge for a couple of hours, then watched Jin-Roh, an anime film on DVD that Andy lent me a couple of weeks ago. For the first time, I decided to flaunt the Andy Turner School of Anime Watching and just watch the English dub, rather than Japanese + subtitles. It turns out that the voice acting was really good; I wonder if non-crappy English dubs are becoming more common as the Western market for anime consumption expands. It was a nice movie, too, though I could have done with fewer money shots of guys getting chaingunned into exquisitely rendered gooey gopher guts. Hm.
It's so strange to me that, in my current situation, going out to find a job would be count as a panic reaction.
