Frustrating

I found another Battle Line opponent in Cthulhia, so I was able to take a break from M beating me at it to C beating me at it instead. My record is 0-6, now. This is shameful... I've never done so bad at such a good and interesting game. I mean, I've even beaten M once at Quarto, her signature game, which I don't like nearly as much. What's going on, here?

In the list of minor pieces of writing I need to finish: my web page of games I like. I already have a games page, but it doesn't get into my favorite titles. (Arguably, I was too new to the scene back when I made it.)

Now I shall perform my Michael Barrish impersonation.

Anyway, I got paid today. Hell yes. Just in time, too... I had to borrow five bucks from M yesterday so I could afford lunch and today's subway fare. Today I happily accepted donations of coffee from C, and pizza slice and cookie from M's visiting family. My friends are cool and I love them.

Oh, Monday will be nice. That will officially be the day I stop worrying about my finances.
