Before going out for tasty Indian food at the Namaskaar (where we all had to withstand entreaties from the most amusingly hard-sell waiter I've ever seen), we came to my place for a round of the bean game, and so it came to pass that the Abritrarium had its first houseguests, even in its partially assembled state. (We had to construct a table and unearth some chairs before play could begin.) This went well, even if the kitchen was almost completely empty and my guests had to stave off hunger by splitting a tin of Viennese sausages, one of the oddball victuals that my parents left behind.
