Exciting shoe update

C, the ICCB screening room overlord, gave me some packing tape, and this sufficed to noisily hold my shoe together for my journey home Friday evening. Was diverted from shoe-buying yesterday, so I'm still wearing my backups, a pair of Timberland boots I bought three years ago.

Now I'm at an impasse because:
a) I like loafers, which impart to the wearer the ability to quickly become a non-wearer.
BUT
b) Coming back to them after a year of loafing, boots remind me how comfy they are; I really like the feeling of walking around in good solid foot-and-anklewear with dense, grippy soles.

Boy. I don't feel like writing about this anymore. Got other stuff to write tonight, yes indeedy.
