Jul. 14th, 2003 12:43 pmWorked Sunday on MIGS. Some of this time spent on compiling and installing a Jabber server on my Mac, giving me a completely self-contained, portable MIGS development environment, so that's pretty nice. The game server is up to a point where it can perform a rude imitation of the guessing game, with one (automated) player. Lots and lots of work to do before I'll consider it ready for proof-of-concept (I'll want it to play at least two different, trivial games smoothly with two players each, and work with player win/loss records, something I haven't even begun to implement), but results so far are encouraging.
Feeling kind of directionless at work right now. The sudden project is winding down, I think, and it's been so long since I've worked on HTSMan I'm not sure how best to attack it. Boss just returned from a week out, and I'm starving for some management, to be quite honest. I think I'm supposed to be worried about HTSMan, because it really should be usable my September. September is a thing six weeks away. So yeah: yipe.
