I just learned through Neil Gaiman's weblog that he sued Todd McFarlane over a copyright dispute last year, and the battles continue to this day.

This is bizarre to think about, since in one sense they sit at the exact polar opposites of the popular-comics-creators spectrum, and here they are, having an epic battle. I mean, forget Thing-versus-Hulk. Holy cow.
