Y'know'd be awesome...

A console action/adventure game, probably a platformer, where the main character's only way of attacking is head-butting. The power-ups let him perform stronger and craftier maneuvers, although they're all still head-butts at core. And as the game progresses, his poor brains become increasingly rattled, and you must exercise restraint and precise targeting or he'll start having foaming, berzerk seizures, uncontrollably head-butting lampposts and furniture and ice-cream vendors and so on. Also his dialogue becomes less coherent as the story advances.

Please steal this idea because I'd love to play this game.

Locals: The Saddest Music in the World is being held over at the Kendall. If you want to see a movie that I think is excellent but you'll probably be disgusted or confused by, go watch this. I can't kinda-recommend this movie strongly enough; it may be a contender for one of my favorite-ever movies, though it's too early to say yet (I'll need to see it a couple more times). The Kendall's writeup:
In 1933, with the Great Depression in full black bloom, failed Broadway impresario Chester (Mark McKinney) and his nymphomaniac, amnesiac girlfriend (Maria de Medeiros) return to Chester's hometown of Winnipeg. There they find themselves amidst both a prickly family reunion and a chaotic $25,000 contest held by the local brewery -- headed by double amputee and Queen of Beer on the Prairies Lady Port-Huntley (Isabella Rossellini), whose prosthetic glass limbs are filled with beer -- to find the saddest music in the world. Directed and co-written by Guy Maddin (Dracula: Pages from a Virgin's Diary).

Learned yesterday that The Manchurian Candidate is being remade. Uh-oh. This is the first time that an old movie I really really like is getting the treatment and therefore perhaps the first time I'll make a point of not seeing it, no matter what they say.
