* The beer (mentioned in audio post) survived the journey and was even vaguely cold when I got home, despite the temperatures reaching triple digits that afternoon (according to a contact in Central Square). I still refrigerated it a bit before sending it to its final resting place. Er... second-final. It was a Sierra pale ale, IIRC.

* I was aware of the baking heat Tuesday and Wednesday, but it didn't really bother me, even during my daily afternoon 20-minute walk with 2-ton backpack from Harvard to Arbitrarium. Some of this was because I actually listened to the radio and dressed for the weather for once (leaving my undershirt at home for the first time since, eh, September I bet), but I'd like to think that some was due to me being in better shape this summer than I have been before.

* I'm not even trying to stealthily slack at this seminar anymore. I have the Thinkpad open on the table, and my TiBook open on my lap, where I type this. I'm still absorbing interesting stuff during the lectures, which I look forward to pursuing on my own time; I'm just not motivated to do it right now.

* I got swag, though, a nice all-cotton polo shirt. Has a the company's bright yellow logo embroidered over the heart, and therefore wearing it gives one a corpo-dronish aspect, which makes me feel weird because I don't work for them. But it's comfy. (Though I wish it were green or black. It reminds me that I'm still sad I never got any shirts out of MINT.)

Think Think Revolution. It's not called that yet, but give the technology five years.
