Most Korean students no longer bother with email. South Korea may be the most wired place on Earth, as far as per-capita accessibility goes.

Reminds of how I have been seriously pondering giving up my jmac.org email address. While I used to receive almost no spam, I passed some tipping point a while ago and get more than 100 per day now; that's easily more than 10 times the amount of legitimate mail I get, and more than 20 times that which I actually read (making modulo for mailing lists and such). I'd probably be slightly less grumpy if Apple Mail's spam filter didn't too often mark things as spam (correctly) and then put them in my inbox anyway.

(Please don't ask what email address to use unless I actually announce something. Or, er, if you don't know my email address in the first place, I guess.)

All right, I'm gonna be putting together a Volity presentation this month, probably over the holidays, maybe with a beta test to the northern crowd.

How would Sunday, Jan 2, at 4 pm work for its Boston-area debut? Intended audience is anyone interested in Volity as a network game technology, or just anyone who wants the lowdown on what I've been grumbling about for the last 18 months.

Location would be my apartment in Somerville, unless I happen across some donated conference-room time, doo dee doo. I'll be filming it, and making both that film and the slideshow itself available on the Web afterwards.

Feel free to suggest better times if you'd like; this is quite tentative now.
