This journal became the #1 google hit for "The City of Xebec's Demise" almost as soon as I named it that. I wonder if anyone finds my journal because they googled a strange phrase they remember from an old computer game.

To simulate the experience of the acoustic nature of my apartment every wednesday evening, when the mother of a fussy little boy comes to collect him from my neighbor's house, where his very best friend in the world (and fellow fussy little boy) lives: spend 15 minutes reciting the following phrases and fragments in a random order, divided equally between a man's voice and a woman's, using your best REVEAH accents.

I just mv'ed the jmac media log. Nobody (least of all me) has posted to it in a long long time, and its only purpose now seems to be generating trackback spam. I just got several dozen of them in the space of an hour, and I really don't care enough to figure out how to make it stop while keeping the blog alive.

I doubt I'll bother to put it up again. I think I prefer just making blog entries and tagging them "media", at this point.

I'll make archives available of what y'all might have written there when I get around to it. If you want your archive sometime before then, let me know.
