* Space Station Assault: I did indeed make some online help features (and a nice new splash screen), but I have not published them, since they don't work on the current Javolin release. They depend on some SVG 1.2 features that are so bleeding-edge that we're helping to direct their development in Batik (the SVG library we're using), insofar as
radiotelescope and I complain on the Batik mailing list every time something doesn't work right. Batik's a very active project, fortunately, so this actually causes things to happen. I hope we can finally publish stuff after this weekend.
* We're probably going to change our Fluxx game to match Fluxx 3.1 pretty soon, while keeping our current version (based on Fluxx 3.0) online. I am happy about this since it eliminates that damned "Go Fish" card, which is the most troublesome thing in the world from a UI perspective... you have to let the player choose one of 80-odd cards, and there's just no good way to pull this off. The way we do it now is OK, but it draws so many objects on the screen that slower computers are just crushed under the effort.
* I think that I have finally found an angle of attack with the volity.net website that I'm comfortable with. This is good because the site is seriously overdue. There ought to be some sweet features up by next weekend... I'll just let them speak for themselves, when they're ready.
* Also overdue: a developer blog, where core team members talk about what's cookin'.
daerr will be working on this as soon as he ties up some sysadmin stuff. (Yay, backups.)
Dat is all. Enjoy your weekend, my little ducklings.
