I enjoyed the concert, though it was very loud and the acoustics were terrible.

Twelve hours and a solid sleep later, my ears are still ringing, and I have a physical sensation of cotton lodged into both of them. Is this... should I be worried? I don't know.

A friend who goes to many concerts tells me that, doy, they sell earplugs at the bar, you know, and everyone who isn't dumb wears them. I didn't know this. I don't know anything!! I am a nerd who doesn't get out much.

Seriously though, I'm starting to get a little concerned about this.

Hee hee hee. (Teh funny is fuller if you grew up in the U.S. while watchin TV over the last few decades.)

I like the practical message, too. As a commenter on another LJ said, this rather justifies moveon.org's existence.

(I've written off my own parents as being completely irrational due to deep-seated swarthiphobia (literally - they are so, so scared), but I know at least one person close to me whose parents live in a swing state and are still undecided, and their education is an ongoing project...)

(My mom was telling me how she and dad went to a Todd Palin rally in Newport last weekend. He's a rather soft-spoken man, apparently, and they had to strain to hear him.)

Rachel Maddow presents a good summary of the ACORN foo-rah and why it's a total crock:

I hadn't heard of Ms. Maddow before [livejournal.com profile] toddalcott started linking to her recently. I really like her stuff now.

Michelle Malkin finds herself needing to calm down her own readership with assurances that Obama was recently seen speaking in front of the Ohio state flag, not a special "Obama flag" that is a harbinger of his founding New Zimbabwe upon taking power.

It's like even the top layers of crazy have weathered away from the Right's support-bucket. Nothing but rich and pungent Deep Crazy left here.

(I think I need another break from the internet. I dunno yet if I'm gonna do the debates.)

OK, I'm good for one more.

Dum de dum. )

Oops! I shut off comments by accident!! They work again, sorry.
