Dan O'Neill's first Odd Bodkins comic-strip collection, Hear the Sound of My Feet Walking Drown the Sound of My Voice Talking. My second attempt to get it from eBay, and I definitely spent more money on it than I ever have on a single comic book, but no matter: I believe that this will complete my collection of all two Odd Bodkins books. I stumbled across the second one (The Collective Unconscious of Odd Bodkins) nine years ago at a used bookshop in Bangor, and it did a lot to drive my cartoonist dreams of the day.
Young Lust, a 1971 work by Bill Griffith (the "Zippy the Pinhead" guy). Half-expecting to be not really all that impressed by it, but it was worth five bucks just for bragging rights (bragging to whom, exactly? the jealous people in my head).
Found explodingmikan's comic/thesis Making Rain in my mailbox upon arrival at work today! (I had forgotten that I gave her my work address instead of my home address.) Haven't opened the envelope yet; looking forward to it.
