Been hacking like hell on Volity since Sunday. After a long period of silence with that project, it's invigorating to have such a long tear with it, solving several problems at once. Finally posted details of recent work to the Wiki & mailing list tonight, so you'll see them if you do.

I haven't forgotten about the presentation. I still wanna do it. Just haven't logisticated meself a date yet.

Found Hitherby Dragons. This person has apparently been writing one very short fantasy story every weekday for over a year. They are by and large very good, and if some lean a bit far into pop-culture goofiness, the others are tiny gems. Here's an example of one I liked. (I will add that I'm a little disappointed that she allows comments, though my reasons for this are selfish.)

Her writing reminds me a little of Zarf's, in voice if not subject matter. She is also the creator of Nobilis, a modern-setting fantasy roleplaying game. I don't foresee myself ever actually playing it, but I'm rather tempted to get the rulebook just for the writing, now.
