I really like Citadels, and will add it to my favorite-games page next time I up update it. It's a fine mix of luck, strategy and psychology, and you can apply that latter aspect regardless of how well you know the other players (although I'm sure that helps). And I really like how it manages to have a bluffing element that doesn't involve active deception (something I'm not normally good at).

Also I seem to win at it often. Ho ho ho

I used to adore Citadels until everyone else learned how to play. Now I get assassinated a lot.

This is why you try to pick the best role that is not the role you think everyone else thinks you'll pick. Or be the assassin. :)

([livejournal.com profile] dougo also mentioned a house rule where an assassinated character can still take gold or draw a card, but not do anything else.)
