Ahh, my face is finally starting to limber up again.

Well, ~15 years later, I'm still pretty resistant to Novocain. If I recall correctly, I needed two injections back then. Today, I had one injection, then a cold compress to fight the nausea, then some test drilling, then a shot of something else that was apparently stronger than Novocain but shorter duration, and even then it all didn't start to really kick in until I was walking home. While packing the filling in, the doc was trying to hide his annoyance at how long I took, and suggested I arrive 15 minutes early next week.

Next week, ugh. And then never again, I sez: daily flossing for me.

At least I had a valid excuse to sit 'n' watch TV for a few hours. Discovery: last year's "Looney Tunes Back in Action" is pretty good, insofar as it does what it sets out to do. I laughed a few times. (No, I didn't have any nitrous.)
