hairy
I used the
Abi portrait maker
to figure out what I'd look like if I shaved.
Science!!
I want to do it; it's been seven years. I really don't want to have to deal with the reaction from everyone, though. I want a combination shave and mass mindwipe.

I dunno.. if you want to shave, just do it. People will go 'OMG!' for a day or two and by the end of the week it'll seem normal.

I have wondered for a long time how everyone got portraits like that. Are you holding a goose in that picture?

It's supposed to be a cell phone. The one I'm using now is not the flippy kind, but the flippy kind is far more iconic of cell phonedness.

i think it's one of those things that people will notice and comment on. then you can nod your acknowledgement and carry on.

Shave, then print the words "don't ask" on your chin.

Reactions are normal.
I used to have hair down beyond my shoulders.
Then I had it cut to an inch for costuming purposes.
People at the office screamed.
Loudly.
But they got over it.

It's better than people commenting on things that you didn't intentionally change, like if you developed a gut or a large pimple or something.

You'd blow your kids' minds, that's for sure. (My dad reconfigged his facial hair a lot when I was growing up.)
