I'm pretty sure I never heard or read the word "Manischewitz" before this year, when I have heard or read it 999,999 times. I think that it actually didn't exist at all before this year, and it's been retroactively added to history but they forgot to patch my memory correctly. Who's been dinking with my Matrix

haverford college: 1997. bad wine bad poetry party as hosted by myself and kumquatmay. by request of our third roommate, for our jewish friends, we provide 2 bottles of manischewitz. when all is said and done, all bad poetry written, all bad wine consumed, we had 2 bottles of manischewitz left. that was the first time i came across it.

The only thing I can think of that I actually seem to like of theirs would be the chocolate covered caramel and cashew things... (chocolate's a bit harder to screw up, imho). Like most non-jews, I can occaisionally tolerate matzah with butter instead of saltines, but... not something I like much either ;-)
