Side effect of being clean-shaven: When I sneeze, if I cover my face with both hands, it produces a loud farting noise.

No, I have experimented with dry face and hands and achieve the same results.
I think that my somewhat sunken cheeks give me facial contours that allow this phenomenon, but until recently my face was too hairy to allow for optimum air passage.
