diningin.com just pulled a Verisign, changing all their customers' website login passwords to diningin and then sending out email explaining this and inviting people to log in and change it to something else. Why? Because they've upgraded their security procedures! Well thank god!

One highly disapproving email later I am waiting for the (very very slow) website to load so I can change the password to something even I won't be able to guess, since I'm sure as hell not going to use their service ever again.

Our new passwords are UNHACKSABLE!!

The password for a secure system I used to use was "password". Oh, oh so secure. And no, I couldn't change it.

I sent them a nasty mail too, and I'm sending some mail to JP Licks as well (they're the diningin restaurant that I'd be most likely to deal with).

Wow, it is a slow site, not even worth it to try and h4X0r some accounts for fun. Bah. (cause all the other haxors already wrote scripts for it and are beating up the site nicely now)

That's... astoundingly inept. Kind of impressive.

Dining-In has no internal controls over their charge cards from being compromised like TJ Maxx was compromised.

Do you wonder who you are opening you door to?? Did you know that DiningIn does not do cory checks on their delivery drivers?? Half of them are seedy looking, one pay check away from homelessness. Consumer beware

If the food establishments were smart they would start their own take out business and cut out the middleman.

Also, they are Sue happy, forgot that we are in America, always trying to sue their competitors. Wake up this is america, if Dining-In does not know how to run a business then they should get out of the business.
