The thing I like the most about LEGO Brokeback Mountain are those little LEGO sheep. They appear to be made from a clever repurposing of other LEGO and are adorable.

Today I realized that donut holes should better be called "dough hickeys", since they're like chocolate kisses, except different. (This after

radiotelescope was trying to describe the thing he had for dessert at the Indian restaurant, essentially fruit-juice-soaked donut holes, and mispronounced a word in an enlightening fashion.)

Then again maybe not since it's not like a "kiss" and"hickey" are really synonyms, no matter how much I'd like them to be in order to make this actually funny. Oh well.

Was the dessert gulab jamun?

I believe so!

I think the dough is boiled in some form of honey, then. Possibly flavored with fruit juice, too.

They're fried (as doughnut holes are). But then served in a bowl of syrup, which I think is traditionally flavored with rosewater, although this version was more like honey.

(Boiling dough results either in a dumpling or a bagel, neither of which resembles gulab jamun.)
