His face is oddly uneven as well.

has anyone else noticed that the tune for that is disturbingly chipper?

There's a bof fri fleu tune?!

[identity profile] toonhead-npl.livejournal.com 2006-05-30 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Kinda. There's a TV commercial campaign to go along with the print ad campaign you've probably seen on the Red Line.

I have not ridden the subway or watched TV in ages, so to me this is an entirely Internet phenomenon.

It's like Boston's very own AYBABTU.

It's an internet phenomenon? I'd only seen it on the T.

I first saw in in Spatch's LJ (click the image). And Googling it leads to the discovery that Boston-area yoots have already adopted the phrase for MySpace usernames and so on.

I've never seen it on the Internet either: I knew it from TV, then saw the T ads last week for the first time.

on the tv ad for recognizing stroke signs, the whole thing is sung in a jaunty little ditty and "bof fri fleu" comes out of a woman's mouth in a speech bubble.

"Gosh, what's the number for 911 again? Lemme think ..."

this is crying out to be icon'd.
