I never heard of 'Free Enterprise' so I can't judge whether it would have been worth staying.
I've heard the album where Shatner sings -- my favorite is the "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" disaster. Still -- I didn't know they made an equally bad music video of one of his songs.
