The forums are now live! Big thanks to Andy Turner for doing the lion's share of the backend programming work.
You may wonder why we didn't just use phpBB, which is a perfectly fine piece of software. The short answer is: we are control freaks. The somewhat-longer-but-more-satisfying answer is: Rolling our own solution lets us do some cool things specific to the Volity Network.
One of these nifty features already exists: if you visit any game's detail page - Treehouse, for example - you will find that it has its very own forum attached, which works exactly like all the others. These forum links show up in Gamut's game finder window, too!
I am going to continue improving the forums, and would love to hear what you think of them. If there is another forum you'd like to see on the main page, or a feature that you'd like to see on all the forums, please drop me a line - or make a forum post about it!
