My face finally stopped bleeding

It took well over an hour this time, and now I have two manly new scabs above and below my mouth. Perfect for making first impressions tonight.

Seriously, I can't risk sawing my face open - which AFAICT is a completely random event, happening maybe one out of four shaves - before one of the upcoming Gameshelf shoots. It's time to give up and invest in an electric razor, especially since (a year into beardlessness) it's pretty clear that I don't care about having a super-close shave, since I usually let a day or two go by before scraping it off again.

I theorize that this isn't because I am a sloppy razor-jockey but because I still have just enough of an acne problem to give me a stready supply of tiny but juicy zits to tear asunder. But, whatever: this stops now.

I found my skin's been a ton better and shaving got a lot less error-prone when I switched from regular foams and gels to "Kiss My Face" brand shaving goop. Less acne attacks too. YMMV!

Yet another advantage.

If I used a blade, my facial hair would only take a few hours to grow longer than the shave produced by an electric razor, and then I wouldn't be able or willing to shave again because it's such a time-consuming nuisance.

With an electric razor, I need only a couple minutes to shave and can easily do it 2, 3, or 4 times a day.

Voila! I average a much, much closer shave over the length of the day.
