James Baker has the same accent as Wichita Rutherford('s assumedly exaggerated stage accent). I do not know what this accent is called.

"Appalachian"? Doc Watson's from way up in the western North Carolina mountains. Baker's from Texas. I think Wichita's doing a bit of both, by way of the Ozarks.
