The acquisition was hassle-free. It did involve a line, but there were more than enough consoles to satisfy it. I also picked up Wii Play, which is basically just more Wii Sports with a second Wiimote bundled in.

Congratulations on getting the Wii! I'm glad that I bought mine. I noticed that you have a Wario pic. WarioWare Smooth Moves is an awesome game; I just rented it at BlockBuster; lots of fun! How long did you wait in line?

The Wario pic is from the original Wario Ware game for GBA, which is certainly on my top 10 list of video game experiences.

We didn't wait long, getting to the Target (one of several nearby Targets that all told me they were expecting Wiis today) a few minutes before opening. The nice Target lady told us there were more Wiis than there were of us, but handed us numbered tickets anyway, and we filed in and bought them in turn. There was every kind of person in line; it was cool.
