I just figured out what happened by somebody driving by saying WOOOOO

I read it as a validation that the 2004 win wasn't a fluke, which is nice. I'm ready for them to go back to being tragic heartbreakers for another 80 years if they want.

Seriously, the only way I learn about major sporting events around here is by loud noises.

Three nights ago, jet plane burns by low over my apartment. I had no idea that was for the start of the World Series until someone told me.

Heh. I was speculating that if the Red Sox keep this kind of trend up, serious Sox fans simply won't know what to do with themselves. And the other comments to that entry seem to support that suspicion :)
