Relics to give away

Anyone want a Commodore 64 and a matching 5.25" disk drive? (No cables.)

How about a complete SCSI Zip drive, with fancy padded carrying case?

[livejournal.com profile] rserocki made it for me a while ago, along with this one.

I still have my C64, Model 1541 disk drive and all the cables and stuff somewhere. I think it's at Mom's house though. I wonder if it still works.

I've got a Zip drive as well unfortunately. I forget if it suffers from 'Click of Death'. Zips were nice while the format lasted. One thing I appreciated about the Zip drive vs the competing format 'SyQuest' drives was that Zip pretty much came out with a standard size (100MB) and stuck with it for a long time (eventually making a 250MB size) whereas SyQuest seemed to come out with a new size every month.
