"$EVENT happens more often than Zipcar users have sex."

Caution: only "funny" if you live in a Zipcar-enabled region and see the Zipcar ads that imply that the Zipcari spend more time boinking than parking.

Also: "Zipcari".

I have yet to see one of those ads. Thanks for the explanation.

the zipcars strike me as something that sounds like a really really great idea for about 10 seconds and then when you stop to actually think it out you realize that it's dumb.

also i was secretly a little scandalized at those ads i haven't seen them in a few months but when they first came out i was like, "don't they know there are CHILDREN riding these trains?" i'm old.

Whyfor the dumb? I haven't tried it so I dunno either way. I do have at least one pair of local car-free friends who hit the Zipcar pretty heavily for shopping and friend-visiting, and seem to like it. (I was ready to join the Zipcari during my car-wrangling troubles a couple of months ago, but I think I'm happier not there.)

I was more upset by the terrifying clown-face underwear ladies from H&M's most recent Xmas ads. shudder

zipcars just seem fundamentally unamerican.
