progLooking again, I see that the APY on the account I just opened has dropped .05% in the few days since I applied. This reminds me of the fact that annual yield rates all around seem to have plummeted by at least two whole percentage points since those Motley Fool banking articles were written. This certainly doesn't invalidate the advice they contain, but still: bleah.
