Housewarming
Jun. 22nd, 2002 10:57 amIt turned out that interaction was minimal. Since Minas Morgul has a common area of two big rooms, CD could be in one and CN could be in the other, and that's more or less how it stayed through the evening. Every so often an intrepid sort from one group would wander into the other for a time, and friendly interactions took place in the between-room doorway and in the hall by the cheese-n-wine table, but mostly the predefined groups kept to themselves.
The most memorable worlds-colliding moment may have been Marc discovering (by perusing our bookshelves) that Melissa's a student of the Classics, and before you knew it they were speaking in Latin to one another, and for quite a while, too.
The important thing is that everyone had fun. I'm reasonably certain that this was the case. Yay.
